Geeta and her fellow German Shepherds are working dogs. They require regular and intense exercise as well as a strong handler. They are affectionate, astute guard dogs, and very loyal.

And busy! The “working dog” label is not just for looks. As their breed name suggests, German Shepherds were originally herding dogs but have since branched out to become search and rescue dogs, police dogs, and movie stars, ex. Rin Tin Tin.
